Financial Update:
Thank you to everyone who made contributions to our Pastor’s Discretionary and Food Pantry funds.
I’m pleased to let you know that both funds are now in good shape.
Thank you too to everyone who has continued to contribute to our General Fund. Your regular donations, whether pledged or unpledged, support the ministries and programs of Faith through our General Fund. Your contributions to our Building Fund support the church mortgage payments. The church mortgage is now below $300,000.
During the 12 weeks that we’ve been closed our General Fund contributions have fallen by over 16% compared to the same period last year. Donations may be made online at www.champaignfaith.org, by mailing a check to the church at 1719 S. Prospect, Champaign, 61820. Many people also find it convenient to contribute through their bank’s bill pay system. Whichever method you choose, your contributions help keep the ministries and programs of the church going by supporting our staff and paying for ongoing expenses.
We have had some inquiries about contributing the federal government stimulus checks that many of you have received. If you would like to make a contribution of your stimulus funds, please write a personal check to Faith and indicate “stimulus” in the memo line. It will show on your giving statement as an additional, tax deductible, contribution and will be VERY MUCH appreciated.
