Grieving in a Forward Direction

Presented by Pastor Don Follis, director of Pastor-to-Pastor Initiatives

Grief is around us all the time.  We lose loved ones, jobs, marriages, friendships, health and dreams. Life is full of pain and sorrow. Grief can stop us in our tracks, but we can move forward by pressing in and grieving well.

The Psalms are full of laments; Jesus wept; and the Apostle Paul instructs us to mourn with those who mourn. The seminar explores the emotions and seasons of grief, looks at the “what ifs” grief robs us of ever getting to experience and allows for lots of group interaction and participation as we consider grieving in a forward direction.

Cost is $10/person for preregistration and $15/person at the door. A continental breakfast is included.

Payments can be made online by visiting our Electronic Giving page or may be dropped off at the church office.

Please register for the seminar online by using the link below or by calling the church office at 217-359-3631. Deadline is Wednesday, April 18.
